Community Guidance Center - The Community Guidance Center provides trauma-informed mental health care to Indiana, DuBois, Punxsutawney, Clearfield, Northern Cambria, Clarion, & Greensburg, PA. A nonprofit organization, they offer a wide range of therapeutic & rehabilitative services, including mental health, drug & alcohol treatment, intellectual disability support, & early intervention services, empowering individuals & families to improve their quality of life.
Family Promise - Their mission is to serve homeless families by providing shelter, education, & support, helping them regain housing, independence, & dignity. Powered by Indiana County’s faith community, Family Promise offers a Life-Skills program, enabling families to become self-sufficient community members.
Hopeful Hearts - Hopeful Hearts offers a safe, caring space for grieving children & families to share their feelings & memories of a loved one who has died. Children participate in age-based activities led by trained volunteers, while parents & guardians meet in small groups to support one another in helping their children cope.
Homer-Center Historical Society - The Homer-Center Historical Society is a 501(c)(3) organization committed to preserving & promoting the history of Homer City & Center Township, PA. Through preservation efforts & community engagement, the society celebrates local heritage & ensures that the stories of this area are shared with future generations.
Homer-Center Parks & Recreation - Homer-Center Parks & Recreation provides a variety of outdoor activities & educational opportunities for the Homer-Center area community. Their mission focuses on enriching lives through recreation, community engagement, & creative youth education programs. IUP's Crimson Closet - IUP's Crimson Closet offers free business & casual clothing to students, helping them prepare for interviews, internships, & other professional opportunities. They are currently seeking donations of businesswear & casual attire in any size or gender. Donations help students build confidence & present themselves professionally.
IUP Food Pantry & Help Center - IUP's Food Pantry provides free food & personal care items to students in need, aiming to address food insecurity on campus. Open to all current students, the pantry supports their well-being & academic success by ensuring access to essential resources.
The Indiana Theater - The Indiana Theater is a cultural cornerstone of downtown Indiana, PA, has been a vibrant space for arts & entertainment since 1924. My Best Friend's Closet - The Saltsburg United Methodist Church offers a free clothing ministry providing clothing for adults, teenagers, & children that is open to all.
New Story Schools - New Story School helps children and their families write new stories of hope & success while facing serious & complex challenges. Specializing in education for children with autism spectrum disorders & behavioral diagnoses, they offer services like Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA), counseling, speech, occupational, & physical therapy, tailored to each student's IEP goals.
NewsTalk WCCS FM 101.1 & AM 1160 - NewsTalk WCCS FM 101.1 & AM 1160 provides news, talk shows, & local coverage to the Indiana County, PA area.
